montehospital.co.uk was our first website, set up in the late 1990s to provide a simple web presence for The Monte Hospital. Back then we were restricted to providing a few downloadable catalogue pages in PDF format. The site was slow and our prices weren't always updated as often as they should have been, but it was our first toehold on an internet presence and, in the days when broadband was unheard of in the UK, it allowed us to provide a basic level of information on the newly-arrived world wide web. In 2005 our on-line shop went live at www.montehospital.com and this new site soon superceded our original site as our primary contact point on the web. When we discovered that many of you had bookmarked our very first website we decided to keep it alive and give you an automatic link to our latest web presence, and that's still the case today. Although we've expanded the range and scope of what we have available, both on-line and in our stock room, you can still find us by simply typing in our original URL. |
